The Regional Healthcare Foundation is partnering with Bootheel Babies and Families with funding from
Missouri Foundation for Health to reduce infant death in the bootheel.
The Children’s Trust Fund has awarded the Regional Healthcare Foundation an area of 4 Bootheel counties, from which the Foundation will receive 100% of each $25 donation made to the License toCare program.
The money is used for child-abuse prevention. Forms may be picked up at the Dexter License Bureau and at the RHF office.
Developed by Stanford University, this six-week program is designed to assist you in developing a self-management program to help you stay active and enjoy doing the things that you love. It is for caregivers or people living with Arthritis, Asthma, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Heart disease, Diabetes, COPD, Emphysema and other chronic conditions. Topics include: Managing symptoms, stress, and fatigue; Nutrition and exercise; Dealing with difficult emotions; Effective problem solving; Forming a partnership with your healthcare team and more.
Classes are offered in 13 Bootheel County Health Departments.
